FAQ

Your moving bin rental FAQ – everything customers ask us before they book.

How many bins do I need?

Rule of thumb: about 12–15 bins per furnished room. Our packages are sized so a 2-bedroom home fits comfortably in the 40-bin Family package. If you’re between sizes, size down and add bins later — we’re local, so topping you up is easy.

Are the bins actually clean?

Yes — every bin is washed and disinfected between rentals, then zip-tie sealed. The seal is your proof: if it’s intact, nothing and nobody has been inside since our wash station.

What if I need more time?

Extra weeks are $25–35 depending on your package. Just text us — no forms, no penalty.

What if a bin is lost or damaged?

We charge a flat $15 replacement per bin. No lectures, it happens.

Do you move my stuff too?

We’re the bins, not the muscle — but we’re happy to recommend local movers we trust. (Movers love our bins: uniform sizes load trucks faster, which can save you money on hourly rates.)

How is this cheaper than cardboard?

A 3-bedroom move typically needs $150–$300 of boxes, tape, and paper — single-use. Our 60-bin package is $229, delivered and picked up. And you never spend a Saturday flattening boxes for the recycling bin.

What about apartments and stairs?

No problem. Ground-floor delivery is free; stairs add 10% for the extra handling. Gate codes and leasing-office rules — just note them on your quote.

When do I pay?

Card on file when you book; charged at delivery. Reschedule or cancel free up to 48 hours out.

Can I rent bins for something that isn’t a move?

Absolutely — garage cleanouts, home staging, renovations, seasonal storage shuffles. If it needs bins for a couple of weeks, Bin That works the same way.
